Cassie Means
Cassie Means was born on January 1, 1989, a native from Puckett, Mississippi, is a recent graduate of the The Boston Conservatory with a B.F.A. in musical theatre. Cassie has been performing since the age of 5, and training in all areas of the Performing Arts such as music, dance, and acting.
Cassie has had the opportunity to perform all around the country including: The Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson, Mississippi, Liberty Bowl Stadium, Mississippi Braves Stadium, Opryland Theme Park, Lincoln Center in New York City, and the JFK Performing Arts Center in Washington D.C.
Some of Cassie's theatre credits at her local community theatre, Actor’s Playhouse, include Velma in Chicago, Eponine in Les Miz, and Annelle in Steel Magnolias to name a few. Some of her Boston Conservatory stage credits include The Life, Good, Show Boat, Cabaret and Strike Up the Band. Regionally, she was part of the ensemble of My Fair Lady at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. She has studied with many well-known artists, performers, and professors in the New England area including Michelle Chasse (Boston Ballet), Peter Mansfield (Boston Pops), Aaron Tolson (Imagine Tap!), Fran Charnes (All Night Strut) and Paul Daigneault (Speakeasy Stage Company) among many others.
Cassie plans to spend her life in the Performing Arts, whether it be in New York City, Nashville, or Los Angeles. Currently, she is pursuing a lifelong dream of seeking success in the country music industry in Nashville, Tennessee. When visiting back home in Mississippi, she enjoys sharing her knowledge of the performing arts with children of all ages in hopes that she will aid in their dreams coming true as well.
